Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for one of the scholarships, applicants must be enrolled in a program at GSA for the 2023-24 academic year, regardless of their nationality (UK/EU or International). However, candidates who are already receiving another bursary or scholarship from the University or GSA for the same academic year will not be considered for these bursaries.

Applicants must fulfill at least one of the specific Widening Participation criteria listed below to be eligible for the scholarships. These categories include students residing in areas with a high Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) in Quintile 1, areas with low participation in Higher Education (LPN) POLAR4 in Quintile 1, students from low-income families who were eligible for Free School Meals in the past six years, estranged students, care-experienced students, young carers providing unpaid support to a friend or family member, students with disabilities, students from Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic backgrounds, students from Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, Showman, or Boater (GRTSB) communities, refugees or asylum seekers, and those eligible for the 16-19 bursary.

Application Process:

Students must complete an admission application on the school’s website, and those who meet the scholarship criteria will be taken into consideration.

Near the start of the academic year, a call for applications will be issued, and a panel will review all submitted applications.



Supporting Documents:

Applicants will also be required to submit a supporting statement of up to 300 words, which will be taken into consideration during the selection process.
