Eligibility Requirements
- In order to be eligible for an RTP Scholarship, an individual must be enrolled in a recognized Research Higher Degree (RHD) program at CQUniversity, whether they are a domestic or international candidate. This must align with the guidelines outlined in the Commonwealth Scholarship (Research) 2017.
- To qualify for an RTP Stipend, a candidate cannot have any additional income from another source that exceeds 75% of the RTP Stipend rate. This income should be intended for general living expenses throughout the candidate’s course of study. Income received for purposes unrelated to the course of study or for specific study-related expenses will not be considered.
- If a candidate is already benefiting from a similar Commonwealth scholarship or award that covers the tuition fees for their RHD program, they will not be eligible for an RTP Fees Offset.
Application Process
- Direct applications for RTP Scholarships are not accepted. Instead, candidates should express their interest in an RHD Scholarship to their supervisory team.
- The School of Graduate Research will invite potential candidates, based on the recommendation of their supervisory team, to submit an application for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are awarded the scholarships will receive notification via email informing them of their successful application.
